George Metcalf is currently the Director of Airplane Business Strategy within Boeing’s Business Strategy and Marketing organization. Areas of responsibility include evaluation of new airline business models, assessment of Boeing’s competitive position relative to product and production strategies as well as providing assessments of near term market conditions.
Prior to joining Business Strategy, George spent two years as a Regional Marketing Director where he was responsible for Boeing’s marketing activities related to Delta Air Lines, United Parcel Service and WestJet.
Prior to joining Boeing, George served as an Associate for The Seabury Group, a New York based boutique investment bank specializing in the aviation and transportation industries.
George began his career in aviation with American Airlines as an Aircraft Performance Engineer.
George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from San Jose State University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington.
