Mr. O’Brien is a 1981 graduate of the Boston University School of Management. He joined BancBoston Leasing in 1979, working in both the Boston and London offices as an Equipment Analyst for the Lloyd’s Project. He was promoted in 1981 to Leasing Officer in charge of all Department remarketing activities. Mr. O’Brien joined BancNewEngland Leasing in 1984 and has held various positions in the company and all of its merged replacements, BOT Financial, BTM Capital and, most recently, BTMU Capital. He was promoted, to Vice President in 1990 when he assumed responsibility for all aviation related residual pricing, portfolio management and remarketing activities. In 1996 he was promoted to Senior Vice President in charge of aviation activities for BTM Capital which expanded to include responsibility for all origination activity in 1999. He has been a Board Member of Engine Lease Finance since 1998 and EVP Sales for ELF since September 2006.
