Mark Streeter, Managing Director, is the senior publishing (sell-side) analyst in North America Credit Research at J.P. Morgan responsible for credit coverage of the transportation (airline, aircraft, rail, freight, shipping) and real estate investment trust (REIT) industries. Mark specializes in the public aircraft debt markets and shares equity coverage of the public aircraft lessors with Jamie Baker.
Mark has been involved in the REIT credit markets since 1993 when the industry was reborn. Since 2000, Mark has led JPM’s transportation credit research team.
Mark, a Chartered Financial Analyst, is a sixteen-time member of the Institutional Investor “All-America Fixed Income Research Team”, most recently in 2008 for High Yield Transportation (#1 ranked) and High Grade REITs (#2).
Mark is a recurring conference speaker on the subject of aviation finance. Mark has also testified before Congressional hearings on the subjects of airline credit quality and pension reform.
Prior to joining heritage Chase in January 1999, Mark held various positions in the fixed income businesses of heritage JPMorgan Securities and Morgan Guaranty Trust.
Mark is a member of The Fixed Income Analyst Society and formerly co-chaired FIASI’s Program Committee. Mark served on FIASI's Board for two years as well. Mark is a member of The Wings Club, the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT), NAREIT, the Urban Land Institute, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Mark received his Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University and a BS degree magna cum laude from Boston College. Mark, his wife Joan, and children Megan, Mark, and Katherine reside in Darien, CT.
